今天第一天開工，學校安排了一個關於 Mentoring 的教師工作坊。

工作坊由我們自身回想一位對自己的甚有影響力的 Mentor，想想 Mentor 一般具備甚麼條件。講者 Dr Lawrence Chen 和 Dr Sharon Ng 將之歸納為 FLAME 五個素質：

FLAME represents:

Focusing on the individual development and not just performance
Listening as a sounding board and not hurry to achieve tasks
Affirming the learning process and not obsess about the product
Mutual respect, admiration, and choices
Expanding perspectives and exploring potentials
